A famous religious leader Showkat Ahmad Shah, of Sri Nagar is died in the blast. It was blast just out of the Mosque. This Mosque is near to the famous Lal Chowk.
Showkat Ahmad Shah was also known as Moulana showkat. In this blast may be Showkat Ahmad Shah was targeted, said police. The IED was spotted on a bicycle. It was blasted on 12:30 noon. In this Blast shah got seriously injured and he was taken to hospital by peoples, But there doctors declared him as dead. He was 55 and son of Momd. Yusuf resident of Lal Bazar.
When Shah was entering into the Mosque to read the Namaz of friday, the IED Blasted. May be it was done by a remote control, said Police. During that blast many other peoples also got injured, who was near to it.
